The IMS gas tanks look so much like stock you’ll have to take a second look. Made of tough plastic so you never have to worry about rust. Bolts on easily, using all stock hardware. Where stock gas cap is not applicable, correct gas cap is included.

One of the first modifications I made to my 2006 DR650SE is the gas tank . I really enjoy the added range the extra 1.5 gallons afford. I have always used skinny/fat tanks like this for all my previous Dual Sport/Dual Purpose/Enduro machines. This has been one of the best fitting tanks I have ever had; with no real modifications necessary.

    Do's the tank come with fuel tap and cap and will it bolt straight on in place of original, also the capacity if my calculations are correct would be 18 litres?

      Thank you for your question. The tank will not include a fuel petcock valve, you will need to swap over the valve. The gas cap is included in certain applications where the factory cap will not fit. Yes the IMS tanks can hold over 4 gallons, almost double the capacity.
