A good choice

Comments about IRC Durotour RS-310 Motorcycle Tire:

I got the tire in a good and timely manner. After installing, I thought the tire was not a total challenge to balance, but could have been better. I thought it appeared a little out of round, but free running it on centerstand proved that it was within a reasonable limit. Because I overload my bike when I take it on a trip, my milage was shortened very much. The fact that I lost my odometer between Crossville, TN and Indianapolis, IN also hurts the ability to see how the tire did milage wise. What this tire did well was keep me on the road during a very pesky storm. Wind and rain didn't seem to phase it. I felt secure at all times. I would buy another one. I would like to see more miles out of them, though. Thus the four stars.

Service and delivery comments:

Ordering is easy, most things are in stock. You lose a star for not having the other tire I wanted in stock during sale time. I think it was the Bridgestone S-11 or sommat.

Good Tire, Good Price, Good Timing!

Comments about IRC Durotour RS-310 Motorcycle Tire:

I bought a pair of these tires for my old 1980 Suzuki GS 450L. They were a little difficult to install, but after cleaning those old corroded alloy wheels with a wire brush and using some soapy water, (and a few screwdrivers) they went on. If you inflate them to about 58 PSI and let them sit under direct sunlight for a while, they will seat properly and you wont have to worry about balancing. Now for performance... They have good traction, good looks, and hold air well. I haven't tested them in the long haul, but for smaller bikes I would recomend these to anyone.

P.S. I wouldn't suggest Kenda because they are Chinese and not that good of REAL quality. IRC's and pretty good, Dunlop, Michelin, and Pirelli are good but quite expensive. Hope this helps!

good enough

Comments about IRC Durotour RS-310 Motorcycle Tire:

i have an old 1982 honda v45 magna which just keeps running & running. i do the least work possible on it, as well as spend the least on it. i ordered this tire for it. the price was good. delivery was good. i guess the only "issue" i had was i made the assumption that it would have white raised lettering on it, like rear tire has. but it didn't and now i have mis-matched tires. but, like i said, it's an old bike.

  • Q:

I have 1974 cb740, which runs on tube type tire. Since these IRC are tubeless, I'm wondering if they would be compatible on my bike and still meet safety standards.

      A:

Thank you for your question. Yes the tubless tire will work fine on your bike. The tubeless applications can be installed with an inner tube and still meet safety requirements. Please let us know if there is anything else we can do for you by contacting us by email at Sales@bikebandit.com, Live Chat or by phone toll free at 888-339-3888. We are more than happy to help.
