Comments about Joe Rocket Alter Ego Pants:
i have had my alter ego two jacket for almost a year. And decided i got tired of the wind going down the back of my pants. So far i have only used the pants twice. But they help with wind and when its cold.
Not a bad convertible pant
By Vrooom

I live in Portland and really like waterproof convertible gear, so I can leave to work on a 40 degree rainy spring morning, and ride home at 75 sunny degrees in the evening. These pants are very waterproof with the liner installed, but I prefer a pant that has a waterproof exterior fabric. The zip off panels exposing mesh are quite nice in the summer, though some competing brands allow more of the exterior fabric to be removed exposing more mesh. I'd reccomend these if you're looking for a waterproof year round pant and are comfortably riding with mesh in warm weather, expecially if you're looking for a Joe Rocket product. These don't seem to fall apart at the lower leg seam like other Joe Rocket pants have done.
