Comments about Joe Rocket Ballistic 7.0 Pants:
I've had these pants for over a year. The outer shell is great for daily commute and keeps dirt/very light rain at bay.Water-proof liner zippers started having trouble very early on. Right leg zipper just failed completely last week. The part that moves up and down actually broke apart and fell off. The pants got dirt in the zippers while riding and the zippers never recovered. I tried to clean them several times.Worked well as long as they didn't get dirty. Very warm and pretty water-tight. Rode all winter in them, coldest day was 0 degrees F. Legs were fine.

I bought these pants to compliment my Ballistic 7.0 jacket. Excellent construction, great fit once I adjusted the kneepads. Nice and comfortable.

I just got them and already went on a few rides with them. Overall I do like them a lot. They definitly keep you warm during my rides in 20-30 degree weather! I have a Joe Rocket 4.0 jacket and it zips up the the rear zipper on the 7.0 pants to keep my jacket down and the wind out which is a bonus. I havent gotten to ride in the rain yet to see if they really are waterproof. Lots of adjustment spots and the legs zip open on the sides to make it easier to put them on and take them off which is nice. My only complaint is that when im riding my street bike it stays bunched up and it pinches me behind my knees no matter what I do. So far when I have the rain liner out it doesnt pinch me as bad as when I have the liner is in. Its not like I bundled up either. I was just wearing blue jeans with the joe rocket pants over it. That would be my only real complaint for it.
