Comments about Joe Rocket Big Bang 2.0 Boots:
I purchased the product kind of out on a limb, the price was in my range and i could not find boot locally that fit my foot. I looked up the sizing chart by joe rocket, measured my foot and ordered the size accordingly and they fit perfectly! I just took them for a 4 hour ride, they are comfortable and stabile on and off the bike, however i would recommend thicker socks, the ankle protection tends to rub your ankle bone if you dont. I would also warn buyers that these boots are water RESISTANT NOT water proof!! they have good tread and are harder to walk in before breaking in but are good for hiking, work sites and riding. if you are looking for a boot on a budget theses are a great buy. NOTE: these are styled kind of like a timberlin boot height wise. so if you want a taller boot that covers your shins these are not your boots.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

About Me Conservative
A good all around boot that would not look out of place anywhere, a great casual riding boot that I intend to use for work travel and weekend riding. Much more durable and comfortable than I expected, these boots are very stiff brand new and I assume they will soften up a bit after some more heavy use. The toe also feels reinforced, but not an actual composite/steel construction.Only problem I've had so far is a buckle on one boot that didn't latch completely until modified with a hobby knife(it has a plastic housing that didn't mold correctly). The laces look weak as well, but can be easily replaced with more heavy duty ones.
These are good daily ride/wear boots

About Me Comfort-oriented
These boots are really good for every day wear. I commute to work on the bike every day and find the boots to be comfortable both on and off the bike.
