This is a solid, well-made tank bag. The magnets hold really well, it doesn't get in the way while riding--you can't lay completely flat on the tank on a sport bike, but that should be obvious, there's a bag there! You can see all your gauges just fine, it never feels like it's in the way.

However, the pictures don't do it justice for just how *small* the thing is. Someone mentioned the main compartment would fit a shoe. One shoe. 5 or 6 DVDs. A couple of paperbacks, a handheld game in a small case. It is narrow, with fairly stiff sides, so you can't squeeze in something if it's too wide. It will *not* fit your laptop, not even an Eee PC. It will *not* fit a hardcover book. I know, "why would anyone want to carry that in a tank bag..." I'm giving examples so you can see if your stuff will fit. The cellphone, garage door opener, toll road device, etc. will fit nicely in the top pouches.

Before you buy, you should decide what you want it for, so you know whether you need a bigger bag. If your goal is to carry some movies/games or (not "and") a bottle of water and munchies... or one shoe, haha... then this is your bag and you won't be disappointed. If you're hoping to carry more, like an overnight kit, look for something bigger.

I bought this bag as a convience bag for my Yamaha FJR1300. Others have commented that the size was smaller than anticipated. However, in my case, the bag was larger than anticipated. I wanted a bag the could hold a few small items (garagedoor opener, ID card, BlackBerry). This bag has plenty of room for those things and more. The main compartment would hold an adult-sized shoe and more. The outer compartement is nice-sized for the type of knick-nacks I was looking to haul. The bonus is the cell phone compartment with the window. So, this is not a true travel bag nor is it a glove bag...it is niced-sized "in-between" bag. Likes: rubberized contact surface, carrying strap, rain pouch, secure fit, sturdy zippers. Dislikes: a tad large for my intended use (but really sholdn't complain).

I bought this bag for my new Ninja for everyday use when running quick errands and going out for a short day trip. It attaches to the tank with ease and stays put. It's also easy to take off and bring into work, restaraunt, etc with you. It has a nice sized place for my garage door opener and house keys and another for iPod (if you want) or cell phone with plenty of room in the main compartment for small purchases or other items you may find essential.
Last, I really like the shape as it is rather low to the tank and doesn't obstruct the view of the guages or interfere with my ability to lay over the tank during highway riding.
So far I have had no issues with it scratching the finish, but I put small, clear protector pads where the magnets attach to head that off.
It is not expandable and is not capable of carrying items larger than a shoe or so in the main compartment. It works perfectly for the small necessities though.

I recently purchase the blue one. its pretty sturdy. the magnets are strong. i like the rain cover that it comes with, but what i dont like is... its not deep enough and the cell phone zipper i think should open the other way from the top instead of bottom.
