Purchased this helmet to use with my new Dual Sport bike. The helmet is light, fits me VERY well (fits just like my same-size HJC helmets), and is quiet considering it has off-road style ventilation. On the street, the full flip-up shield feature is extremely nice. For Dual Sport events, I remove the shield and wear goggles. Here is where there are "compromises" with the Hybrid helmet. To remove the flip shield, four small aluminum screws must be removed. They are small enough that they could easily be lost if dropped in the grass. Having to do this over and over may eventually lead to stripped out screw holes - time will tell. The second compromise is that the goggle strap does not lie flat on the helmet shell - it catches the trailing edge of the visor. Not a big deal, but not perfect. The matte black finish also seems to be rather fragile and difficult to clean up - showing marks from contact with branches, etc. Again, not a show stopper. All in all I am very pleased with the fit and performance of the helmet. It is well-ventilated, offers good protection, and has more upside than down for me.
