Easy Up 1 tooth on XT225 front sprocket

      By lostonpurpose

      Pros

      • Fit my machine
      • Well Made

      Cons

        Best Uses

        • Replacing OEM

Purchased 16 tooth JT to replace OEM 15 tooth to reduce rpm at given speed. Fit the countershaft without problems. Drive chain didn't need to be lengthened. JT Sprocket looks well made. Bike rides nice - no noticable change in loudness from chain drive. Completed the swap in less than 15 minutes.

Bike Bandit always has the parts I need.

        cheap durable sprocket

        Best Uses

Aluminum sprockets look better but they are way more expensive and last about half as long as these Steel JT sprockets. I ride a 2 stroke kx500 out in the sand and it eats up sprockets like none other. These JT's are a great affordable replacement.

          Great inexpensive sprocket

          By Trail Venturer

          from Rogersville, TN

          See all my reviews

Bought to change the gearing on my XR 400 to make it more road worthy. Now I can cruise at 60 - 65 mph and still retain descent trail manners. Just what I needed for my dual sport project.

Not yet installed too much snow

          By Cuda

          from N.E. Minnesota

          See all my reviews

          Pros

          • Good metal coating
          • Quality cut and machining
          • Robust Material
          • Should reduce rpm by 600

          Cons

          • Heavier than aluminum
          • Shipping cost

          Best Uses

          • Freeway cruising

My recommendation is based on the quality of the primary drive sprocket I received, it will be installed as soon as the snow melts enough to get in the shed.

No they do not have a 45 tooth sprocket available for your machine. We did not find any other 45 tooth sprockets at all only 42 through 44 and one 47 tooth sprocket.
