          These kits (2 petcocks on XS850SG) worked well, and fit perfectly (unlike aonther kit I got elsewhere...). Price was right, especially with AMA discount.

          Worked Great

          Comments about K&L Fuel Petcock Rebuild Kit:

          Bought this for the petcock on a 1979 KZ1000. The new O-ring for the mounting plate would not work. Was smaller diameter than the old one. It fit in the groove but was too small in diameter to make a seal. The rest of the kit was fine although the petcock still does not work properly.

          Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

            Comments about K&L Fuel Petcock Rebuild Kit:

            The kit purchased was for a 1988 Sizuki GSX600F katana bike.
            The kit came without the membrane spring. so the old one had to be used.
            After the kit installation the petcock did not deliver fuel(even when high vacuum applied) due to the fact that the membrane O-ring was stuck in its cavity and the vacuum could not release it.
            After several disassemblies it still does not work well.
            The rest of the kit seems to be OK and fits the petcock well. No fuel leaks have been noticed after the assembly.

            Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
