Comments about K&L Tire Tamer:

While this tool isn't necessary, it certainly makes life easier when changing tube-type tires with or without rim locks. The tool allows the user to pry the bead away from the rim, which allows for ample room to push the valve stem through the rim. Much easier (and less painful) than skinning your knuckles or using a cheap valve stem retrieving tool.

The tool also eliminates the need to lever the bead over the rim-lock using a tire iron, thus eliminating the risk of puncturing the tube. After using this tool, it's something that I can't live without. Well worth the money.

Should be called life saver!

Comments about K&L Tire Tamer:

i bought this after trying to change my dirt bike tires and skinning my knuckles up and getting very frustrated. i saw a guy on a youtube video using it and he said it was his favorite tool, so despite the high price, i went for it and it made the tire change so much easier. if you're sick of paying 20-30 dollars a tire, or letting a flat ruin your weekend, buy this with a bead buddy and 2 18" tire irons and you'll be changing tires like a pro!
