90 degree threads too short

    Comments about K&L Valve Stem:

    Decent industrial look and very light, but the bandits don't list the length of the threaded portion of the stem. I got the 90 degree version and it fit the hole, but didn't extend far enough into the rim to get the nut onto the other end. This was an early 80's Kawasaki mag wheel, so it may fit newer or different types of wheels, but it sure would be nice if the bandits actually took and listed measurements, particularly for customizers.

    The 8mm 90 degree valve stem specs: threaded stem that extends into the rim is 7.67mm (8mm) wide, and 12mm "short" (11 if you count the included O-ring). The arm with the valve core in it extends about 30mm out from the center of the hole in your rim, and sits about 14mm high, and the base is 15mm wide, for anyone who wants to know!

        Thank you for your question. There are two sizes 8 mm,10 mm,which are the diameters of the valve stem threaded portion. I dont have a specification for the length. The long stem will accomodate front wheels. The short and 90 degree stems will accomodate rear wheels and scooter wheels.
