Great help on a my restoration.

It's been a long time since I've torn into a motorcycle, or dusted off my tools for that matter, so the Clymer manual has been invaluable. It's technical descriptions are detailed, and include excellent illustrations and photos that make this job of rebuilding a 1989 XT350 bike possible. If your working on your own bike it is a must.

Compared to the user's manual & service manual, this manual actually explains the steps to follow, not just an arrow to a number on a diagram that says "remove this". Probably the most valuable tips are the Caution/Note sections which explain the ways you can really screw up. A lot of these details are NOT obvious, and the Yamaha service manual just assumes that you know what not to do.Bear in mind that, while this explains how to tune the fuel system for stock conditions, it doesn't explain how to tune for specific aftermarket parts (as in suggest jet sizes or needle heights), but this is outside the scope of the book anyway.tl;dr: Buy this book if you want to service your bike and not damage anything.
a good book
