Comments about Battery Tender 12V Super Smart Battery Tender Junior:

This smaller Battery Tender is very good for charging lithium ion bike batteries and avoid overcharging this battery type if connected for long periods of storage.

Comments about Battery Tender 12V Super Smart Battery Tender Junior:

Had a dead battery, took 2 full days to charge it up, but the thing worked well. I like the leads that stay attached to the bike allowing to just plug it in and mot have to remove the seat to get to the posts to charge. Was disappointed that the price was no different (less) than local places.

          A:

Thanks for the question. This is used to maintain the battery while the machine is parked and can be left on all the time when parked. It does come with pigtails that can be installed on the battery so that it can be quickly connected & disconnected. Is the input voltage to the battery tender nominally 110V only or is it global, i.e., 110V/220V? Thanks.

Do I have to disconnect motorcycle battrie cables?
Asked on 10/22/2012 by Dont have one

        1 answer

        • Staff Reviewer

          A:

Thank you for your question. No, in fact the unit will include a pigtail that can be installed on the battery terminals. The pigtail can be left on the battery. When the bike needs to be charged the pigtail can then be connected to the battery tender. Once the battery is fully charged the pigtail can then be removed and tucked back in its respectable hidding spot near the battery, away till the next time. With the permanent installation of the pigtail you will never have to disconnect the battery again. Please let us know if there is anything else we can do for you by contacting us by email at Sales@bikebandit.com, Live Chat or by phone toll free at 888-339-3888. We are more than happy to help.
