Comments about Kreem Tank Prep Pack:
I used Kreem Tank Prep Pack to restore gas tank on a 1976 Honda that was rusted and dirty. This product cleaned tank nicely and the 2-step process was easy to use. I would purchase this product and use again.

Kreem proved to be a good combination of products that will indeed clean and etch metal. This two pack will be good enough to clean a rusty tank. I found so far, that the liner isn't absolutely a must buy with these cleaners. This product worked its magic, however, it is imperative to pre-wash and scrub the inside of the tank with hot soap and water as the instructions say. Use BB's or medium sized nuts and bolts to aid in breaking off the rust that is stuck on the surface. If you do not scratch the rust well before doing the acid bath, the acid will not remove the rust. The acid must get under the rust to remove it. Just beware! I had to go back to that step then put the acid in the tank again and pouring acid from container to container is not fun.Overall pleased with purchase.
To find hard to get original and aftermarket parts that are quality and cheap.
