Nice reasonably priced tool

Comments about Motion Pro Chain Breaker:
Would make a nice gift for beginner to intermediate user. Will require moderate maintenance (grease and cleaning) to keep functioning properly.

I am an active rider. Worked excellent on my street bike without any problems so I know it will handle the dirtbike. Will last forever if used correctly!

Consider Your Needs Before Purchasing
from Allentown, PA
If you're simply looking for a tool to break chains, this tool is well worth the money. Any further chain maintenance may require more specialized tool(s). As always, consider your needs carefully before buying.I found the pin integrity to be poor. Before using the tool, I strongly recommend that the user grind down the chain pins with a Dremel tool (or the like) before pushing them out with the tool. I also recommend having at least one spare removal pin on hand.
Adequate but Not More

Modest priced tool, adequate in my experience for breaking (cutting) 428 - 530 chains. Handle is quite short giving limited leverage to hold tool in place when pressing out pin. Tip is subject to breakage but replaceable and inexpensive. I might consider a heavier, more expensive breaker if I were to replace this but it has served me reasonably well for several years of service and more than a dozen chain tasks. Would recommend with these qualifications
