Comments about Simple Solutions The Grunge Brush:

I bought this to clean my chain after I had gotten lazy and let my chain get way too dirty. Coupled with some Simple Green degreaser, it powered through that black grunge that builds up on the chain over time. It really made the job quick, easy, and painless.

    Worked very well.
The brush heads can be adjusted to fit on a motorcycle chain or bicycle chain. However, they can be hard to remove and adjust.
The brush comes with a long end which you can use to clean your sprocket or anything else. However, I did not find this end useful. There arent many bristles, and I think they are too long. They are too flexible to be useful.

Also, I am not entirely sure about the longevity yet. After I got done cleaning my chain, the bristles were bent and deformed as a used brush would be. I am not sure how long it will last, but initially it seems like it won't last a long time.

I gave this product a 5 star rating, despite the cons I listed and talked about. The cons did not effect the intended use of the product. It still worked extremely well, as it was intended to do.

Comments about Simple Solutions The Grunge Brush:

Asked for this brush at a few local auto parts stores and they had never heard of it. So I ended up settling for another brush I thought would do the job. It took longer to use and I know it didn't do the thorough job this grunge brush does. Perfect tool for the job.

Comments about Simple Solutions The Grunge Brush:

Quick and easy to use. Just spin your tire a couple of times (By Hand) while holding the grunge brush on your chain and presto your chain is clean.I would recommend spending the extra money on the aluminum one because my first plastic one got pinched between the sprocket and broke.

Comments about Simple Solutions The Grunge Brush:

I bought this to clean the grungy chain on my bike and it worked great. I first sprayed the chain with Dupont chain cleaner, let is set for about 5 minutes and when to work with the brush. It cleans 3 sides of the chain at the same time and after making a couple of passes on the chain, rotating the brush after every full rotation, then rinsing with more cleaner, the chain was immaculate. I then lubed the chain and am good to go again. I highly recommend this product.

Would you suggest this brush for cleaning very spokes on my wheels? Would it harm the finish?

Thanks for your question! This may work for spokes as well. The bristles are nylon making them less harmful to the surface. Depending on the finish of your spokes it would be up to you.
