Comments about FMF Step Up Bike Stand:
Perch on the aliuminum base for the pivot bracket was not shaped correctly to allow the arm to come down completely. In turn the holes for the bracket lock pin wouldn't line up. After 15 mins of grinding with a battery operated dremel. I've attahced the images I sent to FMF. They responded that the product is made by a vendor and FMF just puts their name on it.. Doesn't say much for the FMF name and quality control.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

bike stand review
from Houston, TX
we have a CFR230 and XR70. The lift is very helpful when adjusting chain, or when either of the wheels need to be removed. Still requires a second person to stabalize the bike when you need to torque down an axle. Negates the need to have to lift a large bike up on a stand. Very handy tool for performing maintenance on the bike. Would recomend to anyone.
