      Thank you for your question. Unfortunately this product will not work on your XR650L. You will need a center stand with a hydraulic jack. Below is a link to a lift stand that fits the 650cc bikes:

      Thank you for your question. Yes the stand will pick up most sport bikes with spoolz and without. The carriers are removable and invertable to lift from swingarm or spoolz.
