Not sturdy enough for rear touring tires

Pros

  • Lightweight

Cons

  • Flimsy
  • Ineffective

Best Uses

Comments about BikeMaster Bead Breaker:

This unit is not deep enough to accommodate 180 wheels, nor is it strong enough to break the bead on a Goldwing GL1800 or Victory Cross Country rear tire (both 180/60R16). It barely worked for the front wheel (130/70R18).

Trying to get the leverage required, I ended up bending the unit. Once it's bent, it's useless.
