Comments about Maxima Fork Oil:
I used Maxima 20W Fork Oil after replacing the fork seals in my 1994 Kawasaki Concours and it now rides like a new bike despite having over 70K miles on the odometer. The only reason I'm not giving five stars is because it's only been two days so I can't speak to it's long term attributes.
Don't get forked! Change your oil.

This seems like pretty good stuff. My commuter bike had it's fork ruined when a dude hit me head on at an intersection. Salvage yard parts were obtained and serviced using this oil. The dampening and bump response are very good. The forks that were destroyed in the collision had been serviced at 10,000 miles using this product and after an additional 20,000 miles showed very little wear upon inspection. Some models of motorcycle's must have both fork legs removed to drain the original oil. Making it difficult for a person to do this at home without a stand and proper tools. Changing the fork oil removes many break in wear particles and will make the slider bushings last longer.
