Great Tire, I've got 11,500 miles on the rear & it still has usable tread on it.Metzeler tires have always been my personal favourite for feel, grip & a decent wear rate; even on old Japanese Super bikes.The Triumph Bonnie has less weight & not the brutal power delivery of my old Jap iron, so the wear rate has been excellent.....

I bought this as a stock replacement tire for the ME Z2 that had been on my '97 BMW F650 since the day it left the factory. Install was very difficult unless you're experienced in doing this kind of thing. But that's not really a shortcoming of the tire, it's the nature of the beast, so don't let it stop you from buying it. The old tire had almost 14K miles with plenty of tread remaining. I only replaced it due to age. Otherwise it rides well, lasts a long time, and meets or exceeds all of my expectations. Hopefully they'll still have this model or something equivalent in another 16 years when I need a new one.
