The Z6 has unmatched tread life, thanks to the combination of carcass, compound and tread design. You can expect a totally balanced performance during the entire life of this tire. Metzeler's CMT (Contour Modeling Technology) combines different profiles to optimize handling at all lean angles. The patented 0° steel belt technology provides stiffer a carcass for perfect balance of performance for one- and two-up riding; minimized stand-up behavior under mid-corner braking situations. Up to 20% dry grip improvement (over the ME Z4) thanks to Finite Carbon Matrix, a new carbon black compound structure. W-rated for speeds up to 168 mph.

    I have always used ME880 Marathon for my touring bikes. I have used approximately 10 paired front and rear on Yamaha Venture and BM LT Is this a better, longer lasting product? Or shall I stick with the Marathon ME 880?

      Thanks for your question! From what customers have stated to us these are great tires but we have noticed customers get more mileage out of the ME880 Marathon tires due to the harder compound. Please let us know if there is anything else we can do for you.
