This tire is made of a specially-formulated rubber mix that provides durability and resists tearing and chunking, even under hard use. Reversible tread pattern with a treadwear indicator that clearly shows when to reverse the tire on the rim; when the “M” disappears the tire can be turned around. Mirror-image knobs provide equal traction in both directions on a wide range of terrain. DOT approved and R-rated for speeds up to 106 mph.

This Tire is Great!

These tires are probably the most significant reason an old rider 64 that would be me, was the only rider out of seven, the others all experienced early forties, who didn't crash and was the fastest on a 44 mile recent trip 85% pea gravel and course sand trails with 30% snow cover and an old Honda XR-600 the others on much newer KTM, Husky,Suzuki and technolgically advanced bikes. Traction is the Answer!!
Pavement or dirt...

these things have some SERIOUS grip!!!Installed a set of these on my WR400 and they are some of the best tires for that bike I could imagine. Since they have such a large knob, I expected them to feel a little wobbly on the pavement, but there was none of that I could tell. They allow the bike to behave like it has a set of street tires on it and when the road turns to dirt/gravel, that's when the REAL fun begins. I've only had them for about 500 miles (mostly off-road), but I'm expecting them to last for quite a few years and that's saying a lot for a dirt tire to last that long. If your bike's like mine, converted to be street legal, these are the perfect tire for anyone who rides 85-90% off-road.JC
