Until now, you had to make a choice: the grip of a softer tire - or the durability of a harder tire? But thanks to Michelin 2CT dual-compound technology, MICHELIN® Pilot® Road 2 tires offer both grip and durability in one tire. By integrating a soft rubber compound on the tread shoulders with a wear-resistant compound down the middle, Michelin gives you the best of both worlds. The Pilot® Road 2 tire is like two tires in one.

Great all around tires

Comments about Michelin Pilot Road 2 Motorcycle Tire:
This is my third set of PR2's. Ive gotten over 16K miles on two sets. They definitely wear well, they handle excellent, are rock stable on wet roads (tropical storm Thunder shower East coast wet roads). If you want only one of the above there are better tires, but for all around they really stand out and a better tire would be rare.

"Best Sport Touring Tire"

The PR2 has given me excellent results on the Kawasaki Concours 14 with 9500 miles on the last set and good confidence in wet or dry conditions. The Dunlop Roadsmarts I have on now are as good but are going to fall about 1500 miles short in the mileage department. The Michelin PR2s are the clear winner giving the big Kawi quick turn in and predictable grip under power from the rear. I can't wait to put this new set on. As usual Bike Bandit had the best price and quickest delivery. Why would you shop any place else?.....Thanks BB!!

Great tire for the Kawasaki Concours 14! Saves you $40 over the PR3 with close to equivalent performance!
LOVE this tire

Buying the rear tire was the best decision I have made. I used to be afraid to corner aggressively on downhill turns, but after I got this rear tire broken in, I automatically changed to a more aggressive riding style without even realizing it. I have about 100 miles on the tire now, and a friend who I ride with has noticed that I am riding with a lot more confidence. I can feel the grip while cornering and the ride is smooth as can be when riding in a straight line. I'll be buying the front tire when the one already on my bike wears out.
