Love this tire!

By Gritboy

from Sacramento, CA

Pros

  • Great Wet Grip
  • Super sticky for ST tire

Cons

  • Price

Best Uses

  • All season sport-touring
  • Commuting
  • Mild canyon carving

Bar none the best sport-touring tire I've ridden and I've tried many. So far they're wearing great, give good feedback, have excellent wet grip and stopping power (even in torrential rains), and corner just as good as average sport tires, though not quite as good as full-on sport tires because they get a bit greasy if pushed hard for extended canyon carving. They warm up instantly and even track across gravel and road debris better than most — I'm guessing because of the siping — so they're perfect for backroads. Haven't ridden them in super hot weather yet, so the verdict is still out.

Another tire option for my BMW GTL

By Jimmy

from Plains , RI

See all my reviews

Pros

  • Better traction in rain
  • Good handling
  • Good mileage

Cons

    Best Uses

    • Country road rides

I purchase these tires after hearing and seeing my fellow riders rave about them. Most notable, they all love the handling, high mileage and rain management. A friends R1150RT had over 6,000 miles on his tires and they still look great. I have over 5,000 miles on a front tire and it still looks like new. So, I recently purchase a complete set for my summer rides. I have a K1600GTL and feel this tire is a real good fit for my type of riding. I use my bike for everything. I average over 12,000 miles a year.
