Perfectly suited for classic scooters; heavily siped tread pattern for maximum grip in wet conditions. The S83 is a high-quality tire that has been proven in Europe, where scooters are a way of life. Features reinforced crown, with additional casing material on top of two carcass plies to resist premature wear. J-rated for speeds up to 62 mph.

A good tire for flower sniffing

By eurasiancycles

from Atlanta, GA

Comments about Michelin S83 Scooter Tire:

My overall impression of this particular tire is average. IMHO, this tire is best suited for small mopeders that don't carve corners.

The biggest disadvantage of this tire is the high and reinforced sidewalls, which prohibit high angle from center turning (and thus increases the minimum turning radius in high speed cornering).

The ride is quiet and comfortable and is relatively responsive, but it is by no means a race tire or a sports tire.

I highly recommend this tire for those who use their scooters for daily communting without pushing their ride to the limits of handling.

Service and delivery comments:

Bike Bandit delivered exactly what I ordered in a very timely fashion! I plan on using them for all my future purchases.

      A:

Thanks for your question! If your machine requires a tube you should run a tube as well. Please check the owners manual for the machine to see if this feature is required. We do not cary specs or features on machines as this is not provided to us from the manufacturers.
