Developed especially for Supercross and very hard-packed outdoor tracks. The HP4 has a taller and wider front tire to help absorb hard landings. 1mm lower knob height than other Starcross tires. The front knob pattern maximizes contact patch, helps evacuate dirt and emphasizes cornering grip. The rear knob pattern provides traction on starts and acceleration, boosts cornering grip and allows earlier power application when exiting turns.

Comments about Michelin Starcross HP4 Motorcycle Tire:
our track is mostly hard with some gravelly areas. great tire the first three rides.then it began to tear as the m's wore off . i turned it around ,hoping to cure it.my son rode the iron man [second place]about 110 miles of hard riding.alot of the knobs were now missing between the main rows.amazingly it still has fairly good traction.not a terrible tire ,but i miss the old h12 .i wish michelin would make it in a 19.

At first when i tried this tire i was unsure how it would handle compared to other tires o the tire i usually run which is a dunlop D756. I used this tire at many California tracks and found that it works on many surfaces hardpack, clay and loamy dirt. the waer on the tire is just as good as the dunlop and still hooks up great after a few rides on it. i would buy this tire again!
