The Flat Slide Smoothbore Carburetor design cuts down the turbulence in the bore-throat to increase air flow efficiency. This design also eliminates various orifices and obstacles in the carb throat which cuts down the turbulence to increase air flow efficiency. Increases velocity and horse power. Uses standard VM pilot, main and air jets. Instantaneous response. Comes with built-in location for power jet.

      The TM38 carburetor I purchased for my 72 kick start Sportster worked great right out of the box.The bike started right up,and ran great.I did have to change the main jet from the standard 230 to a 330 for 3/4 to full throttle.

      Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

          Thank you for your question! This would mount with boots and clamps. These parts would not come with the carb unit. If your machine uses a boot style mount these items would be on the machine. If your machine does not come with this style carb mounting you may want to check some online forums to see if this style can be converted to work on your machine. We are only able to confirm fitment on items specifically made for that exact year, make, and model machine. Please let us know if there is anything else we can assist you with.

        this is a repeat question i left some stuff out,I have a 2005 Raptor 350 bore size 32x36 will this carb fit my atv,does it come ready to go out of the box jets,etc.., everything i need or do i need more to install it,will it give me more performance, all i have on it is a upgraded exaust pipe (DG). thanks

          It does come with jets installed but it may not be correct for your machine, Yes it is a performance carburetor, It will have increased airflow over your OEM carb.
