I should have purchased one of these years ago and saved myself having to buy multiple sized oil filter rings. I just changed my oil filter last weekend and it worked like a charm on my Honda motorcycle, but I think it will work just as well on my Chevy V8. My only concern is that it might slip with a filter that was over-tightened.
