I own a Honda 919--a standard filter wrench won't work due to clearance issues between filter and exhaust pipe--this product was easy to use and worked fairly well.

Slippery, squishes the filter

I had problem making the strap stick to the filter, it kept rotating around it. The only reason it worked is because it deformed the filter until it wasn't round anymore (imagine a pop can squeezed hard in the middle) and used those squeeze edges for grip.Good thing my new filter had e nut at the end and I didn't have to use this strap to tighten it, otherwise I would have been worried that it also might bend out of shape.
