The first time I used the socket the internal rubber grommet that grips the insulator to remove the sparkplug from cylinder head well stayed attached to the sparkplug when I removed the sparkplug from the socket.

A Perfect Fit

This was just the ticket to getting plugs out from and into my 1986 Suzuki GSX-R750. The design is ultra-narrow and very long, making it unnecessary to use a ratchet extension. It appears very sturdily made and that it will last a good while. If you have hard to reach plugs and you don't have the OEM tool that came with the bike, you can do no better than this socket. Nothing even comparable could be found at my local big box and mom & pop hardware or auto parts stores. Save yourself the time and heartache.
