The Custom Heavy Duty™ is one of National Cycle most popular windshields and offers plenty of height with a slim profile for riders who want to tour longer distances. Heavy Duty windshields features the same quality construction as the Wide Frame Heavy Duty but are designed with a vertical strap spacing of 10.75" for a great fit on cruisers with leaner, narrower profiles.

4.0mm Quantum™ coated Lexan Polycarbonate- Lexan Polycarbonate with Quantum™ hardcoat is the highest quality motorcycle windscreen material available. It is vastly superior to any other hardcoat application and is virtually indestructible; see it for yourself in the next tab. DOT / ABE Approved. This windshield is covered by National Cycle's 3-year unbreakable warranty.

Hardware:
To ensure the best fit to your motorcycle the windshield mount kit is sold separately.

        Seemed to be very easy to install (only took about 30 minutes for everything). Bought the Windshield first and didn't notice that it did not come with mounting hardware. Once I got that.. all went smoothly.

        I found the windshield to be very well made it was easy to install looks and works excellent .and it was shipped to me very quickly I have no problem telling my friends about it and the great service !

        Decent windshield

        Comments about National Cycle Custom Heavy Duty Windshield:

        Nice windshield, good ride height to block the wind, but the sliding mechanism from the windshield that forms around the headlight does not slide into place well. Make sure you really loosen the hardware or the gasket material buckles and tears easily, and removal and refitting is not easy.

        Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

        The wind shield was delivered quickly and was a perfect fit for my Honda. Installation was a little unruly and the hardware included was not at all right for my bike, however I was able to pick up a few things at the local hardware store and 15 dollars later I was in business. The wind shield itself is lightweight and very strong and scratch resistant. What a difference a wind shield makes! No more pressure on my chest and I ride almost 180 miles to see my girlfriend every other weekend one way. We both love to ride so I get to average about 600 miles a weekend whenever I ride out there.
