Great Look, and No more bugs in face!

Comments about National Cycle Flyscreen Windshield:
It was hard to find a windshield that fit my 1990 Honda Hawk NT650, as the handle bars are not your average kind. I love the look and the chrome side parts are a plus. Friends even say it looks great. My only real con is that the instructions are mostly written out, and I am a very visual person, so bigger or more clearer pictures would have been nice. Once you get the jist of it, an very easy install. The picture presented is a little misleading though, as it hooks to the forks, not the head light bracket, at least for my bike. My friend has the same bike, and loved the look. So definitley a winner for the Honda Hawk NT650. [...]

GOOD LOOKING FLYSCREEN; SPECIAL FITMENT

I have modified my 2005 V-Star 650 Classic with low bars and foot controls moved rearward, and wanted a shield to knock off the wind to my chest. I bought the National Cycle Heavy Duty Windshield mounting kit for my bike since there appeared to be no other way to mount the Flyscreen to the tapered fork covers. It all worked out; see the photos. I had to buy two 8mm x 1.25 cap nuts at a hardware store and I had to bend the clutch cable guide slightly to clear the tapered mounting plates. I don't look through the shield so the distortion due to the curvature of the Flyshield is not a problem. The Flyshield and the mounting kit are both high quality products. Take your time adjusting the angle of the mounts on the forks to match the angle of the Flyscreen arms. Tighten the screen bolts last after everything is in a neutral, stress free arrangement. I put thread lock blue on every fastener to be sure they didn't come loose.
Too Cute To Ignore.

I was on the computer, way too late one night, when I saw this item. It looked so cool that I just had to buy it. Unfortunately, when it arrived I quickly realized my mistake. I called my house mate out to the garage where I placed the bug screen (temporarily) atop the headlught of my 2002 Kawi Mean streak. We both had a good laugh. I am confident, given the quality and low price I paid for the item, that it will be an easy sell to someone for whose machine it is meant.
Nice Look

Fly screen fit my V Max perfect. The kit comes with everything you need for the install. Take your time and mic out the gaskets because there is no size printed on them. A dry fit will also let you know which gasket will fit. I like the look and it will keep the bugs off my gauges.
