Cold Beater

Comments about National Cycle Plexifairing 3 Windshield:
I live in an area of Idaho where it is not uncommon for morning temps to drop to 40 degrees in the middle of the summer. I commute about 20 miles each way and finally decided I'd try a windshield. It looks sharp, was easy to put on, and best of all It makes it feel like it's about 20 degrees warmer. I can wear my 1/2 helmet all the time now without freezing my face. I chose this one because it protects my hands as well.My hearing has been going down hill, so an added benefit for me is that the wind noise is cut drastically. It's nice to be able to hear the motor and pipes when I ride, not just the roar of the wind. I've been riding for about 25 years and never put a windshield on any of my bikes, but this is great. 1982 Maxim XJ650J perfect choice
By Westbird5
from Bellingham, WA
I did an extensive research of virtually every brand and size for my 1982 Maxim XJ650J. This product fit perfect. I am extremely satisfied with the clarity, quiet envelope it creates for my riding, and classy appearance. It doesn't detract from the bikes normal lines and yet adds a very nice appearance. The bike is on the lighter side so at 60 mph I start to notice the bike is entering "the speed edge" but it's very comfortable on my lighter bike 55 mph and lower. I am sooo glad to have found this product!

Great product. Fit my 1982 Yamaha Maxim perfectly. Easy install. Blocks most wind (only a breeze on my ankles), even at 70+ mph. No vibration. No buffeting. Love this thing!

Plexifairing 3 on Nighthawk 750
By Grizzly Rider
from Alliance, NE
My wife bought me this windshield for Fathers day. I put it on the only bike I've ever owned (1992 Honda Nighthawk 750) and never knew what it was like with a windshield. Or I never knew how much the wind could be cut with a quality windshield. Typically I ride back and forth to work in town, about 2 miles one way. I hated going down the highway with the blast in my face. So I never left town much until this year when my wife got a bike as well. Riding without getting blown off of the seat was great. I enjoyed it so much I didn't want to come home. Fantastic windshield.
