The Plexistar 2 is lightweight and sport styled, making it perfect for hotter climates. The classic Plexistar 2â„¢ is the sporty version of the Plexifairing. It is a bit larger around the headlight opening and the extended lowers are shorter. This great year-round windshield provides good upper chest and hand protection and includes National Cycle's 4-point Quickset hardware.

    Excellent Deal

    I bought this to replace a broken Arthur Fulmer on a 1980 CB750. Obviously with this bike I'm trying to stay true to the time frame (not original, but same styling). Got it on in about 30 minutes, by myself. Other reviews that say the instructions are bad are probably being a little too nice, the instructions were the worst I've ever seen, but if you are considering getting this, you are at least somewhat mechanically inclined and it should be no problem for you to figure out. I have only put about 100 miles on it, but I'm very happy with the look, the clarity of the windshield, and the reduction in wind. I was very impressed with BikeBandit. I ordered at 1:00PM on Monday, got it at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, before the shipping notice was even emailed...great job guys!

    Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

    Unbelievable fast shipping

    I ordered on Sunday and it was on the porch Tuesday. Outstanding. The windshield is as advertised. It comes with 7/8" bars hardware and goes together easy. It took me about 45 minutes. I think its going to work great for cold mornings.

    I have a '91 K75 BMW and was suprised to find a windshield that fit. Good protection from wind and
    rain. The tint is very light and easy to use at night.
    My only jab is the upper mounts that snap in. They
    can also snap out.

    Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

    Good buy

    Installed this windshield on my gl1100 very good wind protection and nice and secure with the four point mounting. Only down side, a little difficult to install you need a third hand, once on it is great, would buy one again

      The picture of the National Cycle Plexistar 2 Windshield on the BikeBandit.com web page is different than the picture of the same windshield on the NationalCycle.com web page (the National Cycle picture has a notch in the windshield between the top of the hand shield section and the side of the face shield section. The BikeBandit picture does not have this notch). Does one of the two pictures show a newer, updated, version of the windshield? Which picture shows what I would receive if I were to purchase this item today? Also, The height and width dimensions are all messed up in the bikebandit.com description. What are the correct deminsions?

        Thanks for your question! The picture listed with National Cycle is correct. The picture that we list may be an older image that we received from National Cycle. There are several different sizes available depending on the application. The size used is determined by National Cycle for the best fit on the model.
