Comments about Ogio Motorcycle Tail Bag:

I got this bag so I could quit carrying a backpack. Everything that fit in my regular-sized backpack (laptop, change of clothes, etc) fits in here - AND I can perfectly fit an extra visor in it without getting it squished by other items. It was super-easy to install, and will be easy to take on and off the bike for daily use. Watch the size though. The measurements they have listed are outside, not inside dimensions. My 13" macbook BARELY fits.

Comments about Ogio Motorcycle Tail Bag:

Since I have a Suzuki TU 250 bags are hard to find for my bike. I drive my bike to work almost everyday and I was getting tired of using a cargo net for my backpack. Without moving the rear seat frame to install this bag, it still installed within mintues and doesn't move around. I really like that the bag extends up to a helmet for when I carry a bag of groceries. The two side pockets also work great! I can keep my daytime & night time glasses seperate (they are in heavy duty glass holders), I can also carry my visor spray and 3 small pill bottles. Pictures show bag in use with heavy duty sunglass holders in side pocket, main part of the bag has a 32oz bottle, a hand towel in it.

Comments about Ogio Motorcycle Tail Bag:

This bag is well built and fits my KLR like a champ. The universal attachment fits well, and I actually can take it on and off because it isn't a PITA to do. Some bags say easy on/off but they aren't: this isn't one of them. I like the bag: size is good, fit is good, seems durable and looks pretty cool.

          • Q:

Will the Ogio tail bag fit on a 2012 SGXR-750 with the OEM seat in place? Looks to me like the Ogio will sit on top of the seat and leave some big gaps on either side of the seat.
            Thanks.

Thanks for your question! We show this bag would have a universal web mounting system so it woudl depend on the machine that you are mounting it to. It is possible you may need to take the seat off each time you take off or put the bag on depending on the bike.

Thanks for your question! The measurement you are looking at would be the diagonal measurement of the bags.

              Answered on 6/27/2010 by Anonymous
            • A:

Judging from the proportions of the picture, I would say the bag is 14" high, 13" wide, and 7" deep (not diagonal). These dimensions refer to the bag when it is standing on end (with the carrying handle on the top surface), not lying flat as pictured.

              A:

Thanks for your question! The Ogio Tail Bag that you are looking at would mount on your CBR no problem, this would come with the strap type mounts which would go under your rear seat.
