Feel good so far. Haven't had bike out.

Comments about Oury Grips Oury Road Grips:
I installed these on my 74 CB550. I used rubbing alcohol to slide them on like the directions suggested. This may be common knowledge, but they are two different sizes (left side smaller, throttle side larger). When I first installed them, they were a little loose in the center (I could feel that they weren't grabbing the bar in some spots). Now, three days later, the alcohol has dried and they may have shrunk a little. They're tight now. I haven't had the bike off the center stand yet, but I think I'm going to like them. Nice grip and soft feel.

Hand grips that work...
Perfection in a Grip
By mtbkndad

I recently purchased a 2002 Honda Nighthawk 750 and wanted a grip that was a bit larger and would reduce vibration better then the stock grips. When I saw the Oury grips I decided to give them a try since I know of the grips from mountain biking. These grips are all function with no fancy fluff. The rubber is a solid enough density to be durable and give great feel when riding while soft enough to SIGNIFICANTLY reduce vibration. I purchased the black grips and they go great with my all black Nighthawk. Their large vibration reducing blocks have a burly look that really goes much better with the Nighthawk then the stock grips. The Rubber of the Oury grips has a great natural "tack" to it without being too sticky. These grips work well if the rider is bare handed or wearing gloves. Also the section without "blocks" at the thumb end makes them comfortable for people with smaller hands too.Anybody that wants a durable, no nonsense, get the job done, superb, vibration reducing, confidence inspiring grip should give Oury grips a try.One note on installation Oury grips recommends using 3M or similar weather strip adhesive. DO NOT try what some people do with hairspray or solvents being spayed into the grip . Oury warns the solvents will eat away at the rubber from the inside out.I use auto weather strip adhesive and do the following method.1. Apply a medium size bead of weather strip adhesive to the inside of the grip.2. Use a round stick pen body like a paint roller to quickly and evenly coat the inside of the grip. (You could also put the weather strip adhesive on the round pen body and then roll it inside the grip.)3. Immediately slide the grip on.4. Wait until the glue is dry and you are ready to ride.
