Good tire at a good price

    By HelixGuySC

    from Charleston SC

Comments about Pirelli SL 26 Scooter Tire:

My 2000 Helix had these tires on it when i bought it, but the back was worn out. Bought a new one as a replacement and love the tire so far. I put about 2000 miles on the worn out one and about 500 on the new one so far. They have great hold on the road. I will be buying a set for my Elite 150 soon.

    Service and delivery comments:

Tire prices are almost unbeatable. OEM part prices can be beat on other sites.

Comments about Pirelli SL 26 Scooter Tire:

looks like good tire with deep tread. Its a pirelli so I believe I will be happy with it. Not installed yet. Bike shop said they couldn't find the tire size anywhere. Told me to double check size. Other options came up zip too. Bike Bandit had it and was delivered at the front door step within a week

Comments about Pirelli SL 26 Scooter Tire:

I installed one of these on the rear of my Honda helix and have around 1200 miles on it. I was impressed with the sturdiness of the tire as compared to the OE Bridgestone. I wanted something with a higher speed rating, but the bike had Js on it before and anything higher is so hard to find in this size. I do get some flat spotting on cold mornings. I'm not sure if it's this tire or the front, but I suspect that it is this tire. Bias tires tend to do that anyway and this is one heavy bike for a 10 inch tire. It goes away after a mile or two. I will be using another one of these on the front when that wears out.

Good question! It be just the tire, you will want tubes if you need to replace your current tubes. You may want to get some rim strips too to protect the the tubes.
