The stand that lifts from under the steering stem is sturdy and ideal for tinkering with my forks. Both stands also have attached parts holders, which are great spots to store a few pair of latex work gloves as a reminder to WEAR THEM! when I change tires.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

      Works great on my 1990 Ducati 851, which has no
      centerstand.

      Got lots of compliments when I showed the bike at
      Quail Lodge Motorcycle Gathering, May 2010.

      I trimmed the rubber bumpers off to allow a tighter fit on the swingarm spools.

      This is the best stand I have ever owned in 50 years of riding.
