      Holy cow did the Pro-Circuit Platinum Pipe improve the off-idle response, bottom-end power, and over-rev of my '04 CR250R over stock. I noticed an immediate difference in low-end power driving out of turns and off jumps, lifting the front end to meet whoops etcetera; and found myself having to shift later than usual, wringing more out of each gear than I expected.

      Fit and finish are perfect; and I especially like how the Platinum Pipe uses my CR's stock rubber seals at its inlet and outlet.

      Highly recommended!

        I recently bought a used 2004 KX125 with this exhaust. There is considerable lag at low RPM, however, once the power band kicks in, it takes off! How do I increase the low-end acceleration and get this bike running the way I know it can? Thanks!

          Thank you for your question. First perform a compression test on the engine; if that checks well then the pipe can be replaced with a more suitable one. The shape of the pipe is what curves the powerband. A good all around rpm pipe is the Pro Circuit Works pipe, Delivers great bottom end response as well as mid and top end power. The Works pipe comes in a natural finish. Below ia an attachment to the Works pipe:

        I just got into racing, and I am starting soon. I have a 2006 Suzuki RM85L. I know that in racing most 85cc racers dont get past 4th gear. Does that mean it would be better to increase the bottem end? If so, what would be better, the Pro Circuit Platinum or the FMF Fatty?

          Thanks for your question! With both exhaust your looking at both seem to be very good on your model, the Pro circuit is going to give you a little more bottom end power compared to the FMF
