    Pro-pad gel seat

    First things first, I'm not sure there were giant leaps in my seat time. I bought this preemptively for a pretty big ride and I still found myself squirming at approximately my same interval. This was on a Tiger 1050 with the stock seat. Perhaps you have a worse seat and this product will significantly upgrade your experience. The other drawback for me was the -10 cool points to your bike the instant you put this thing on. I won't be sporting it on any rides under 6hrs. The prominent purple "PRO-PAD" branding is perhaps suitable for...for...well I don't know who it's suitable for. In the end, I'm not sure the price to benefit ratio was there for me.

    Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

    Pro Pad Gel Seat

    Purchased the passenger seat size for my V Star 1100. Have used on one trip and my wife says she notices a huge difference in comfort. This will lead to fewer stops and better rides.
    I did make my purchase of this item based on some of the other reviews which also rated this item very high.

    Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

      Purchased the smaller size last year and now adding the next size up so I can double the padding for my wife passenger. She could last 3-4 hours with the single pad and now expect 6-7 hours of riding with the double padding.

      Great Fit

      Seat pad fits my GL1500 great! Cheaper than a new seat and does make a big difference on long days. Easy to take on and off too.
