I've used these 719 gel grips on my last two bikes and they are extremely more confortable than stock grips (night and day difference) whithout any side effects. Don't waste your time when removing the stock grips, just cut them off with a razor blade.
I only wish they came in a solid dark black.

I installed these over my stock grips and the difference is amazing. There is a dramatic reduction in the vibration transferred up through the bars, and the gel gives a great gripping surface. They seem to be a big larger over stock so they also reduce the amount of hand curl. Very tight installation but that's a good thing, and always use grip glue.

Very comfortable compared to the original grips on my DR-Z. Left one was a little loose on my Renthal bars, however a little cement fixed that. If you've got a DR-Z, just go ahead and order a new throttle tube at the same time since the original grip is molded to it. [...] fair price.
