Made of high impact acrylic, giving each screen added strength and flexibility. 3mm thickness helps absorb vibration at high speeds, and offers resistance from cracking or scratching. All screens are developed using information from wind tunnel testing. Puig's Standard windscreen strictly follows the shape of the OE screens so you can use your stock hardware.

    Rgis windscreen was easy to install and appears to be of good quality. the molding around the top which is molded into the factory windscreen is added using a strip of plastic, which is of good quality and wont go anywhere. if you are having trouble snapping it on turn it around. the channel inside the tubing is cut at a slight angle and appears to make a difference and once i did that it when on easy. i also cut two 45 degree cuts (to make a 90 degree like a frame) in the two extreme curves to reduce the bunching and it worked well. i have not rode with it or cleaned it so i am not sure how it will fair scratched but other than that the install was a breaze. the nuts for the mirrors are 10mm and use a closed wrench or socket to prevent rounding the nuts.

    Looks great. The sticker on the front was poorly put on, so I took it off. Was a little difficult to put on as the holes did not line up exactly right.

        The picture shown has a similar bike, but not mine. The windshield is definitely different. I'm pretty sure this is just an example windscreen and not the one I would get, but can you confirm? Can I order this product and be sure it's not going to be the one pictured but rather the exact one I need for my bike? I've got a 2006 Yamaha FZ6.

        Does this fit the Yamaha FZ6R? The description seems to indicate it does but the picture shown looks like the shape of the windscreen would not fit into the fairing above the FZ6R's headlight. Please advise.
