Comments about Firstgear Women's Contour Mesh Motorcycle Jacket:

I wore this jacket on a pretty warm day, mid 80's, and it was very comfortable while riding but did feel a little warm when sitting at stoplights. The armor is very comfortable and doesn't restrict movements at all. THe fit is true to size. It has room but still looks tailored. All and all a nice jacket that fit my needs.

Does not allow enough air to penetrate

By Biker Grandma

Pros

  • Abrasion Resistant
  • Nice looking
  • Stylish

Cons

  • Doesn't Breathe
  • Too Heavy
  • Too hot for summer

Best Uses

Comments about Firstgear Women's Contour Mesh Motorcycle Jacket:

Was very disappointed in jacket. The mesh is too closed and does not allow air in the way I thought it would. Bought this for a summer jacket and it is still too hot, even with the lining out. Expected, by the advertising "Mesh", that it would be more of an open weave and that I would be able to feel some coolness through it. That is not the case.
It is a nice looking jacket and has all the protective armour to make one feel comfortable, but it does not fill the bill for being a warm or hot weather jacket.

Thanks for your question. Unfortunately we are not provided with the recommended care instructions from the manufacturer. Usually jackets will be hand washable, but not machine washable.
