Comments about Tour Master Transition Series 3 Motorcycle Jacket:
Great jacket but there are a lot of features. Takes a while to actually learn the jacket. I have found that with so much velcro, you'd better be careful what you wear under the jacket. The velcro will catch and snag anything like a sweater or the drawstring on a hoodie. Lots of range of temperature but I'd better get a very light jacket for the summer. I do feel safe wearing something like this. If I crash, I know it'll hurt but I can probably walk away from anything other than a blunt force trauma.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Great warm/hot weather venting!

Great fit, quality and construction. The warm weather vents work extremely well; the best of any jacket I have owned.

Good winter jacket. I have a 1 hour commute to work and have worn this jacket in temps down to 34 degrees. Stayed plenty warm with just the liner and no extra layers. I can't rate the warmer weather aspect as far as ventilation goes and probably won't. I bought this for winter use primarily because I have other summer gear.

I bought a Series 2 second hand a couple years ago and it was beginning to fail in wet weather.Got a Series 3 for my Birthday in October.Pros: The fit is good if not more cozy then previous model. Zippers seem nicer and smoother in operation. I'm staying dry now and the Velcro neck catch vs. the previous snap is easy to use. I love the key pocket on the left wrist. The venting was great before and though I have not tested the new yet (too cold) they seem to be the same.Cons: They moved the pocket I put my wallet in, the series 2 Jacket had it on the left side chest just inside the velcro wind flap so you could get to it without unzipping the jacket and letting cold air in at the gas station, now it is behind the zipper and it just seems a change for no reason. The 2 front lower pockets no longer have zippers to keep them securely closed behind the Velcro flaps. Had to return the first one due to detail button popping off when trying on(Replaced under Warranty)
