Love the Bag
from Central IL
Comments about Cortech Super 2.0 12-Liter Motorcycle Tank Bag:
I love the bag, only wish I got the 18L. I wish bike bandit would give rough bag size in inches to give somebody an idea of how big it was. When the girlfriend gets her bag I will give her the 12 and pick up the 18 for myself.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Love this tank bag!

This is a great MAGNETIC tank bag. Easy removal for fueling. I would call this a town or weekend bag. Holds everything I need but don't expect this to be a magnum tour bag just because it expands. Did quite a bit of research before buying this bag & it's all I expected & more. Build quality is excellent. This bag should last quite a while.
Very well designed/made but size is off
from Roswell, GA
Very well designed and made bag that is stylish, too. The magnetic bag fits perfectly on my 2009 Vstrom tank, looks like an OEM bag. I like the molded material that has shape (vs an empty lump of nylon like some bags). Red interior really helps with finding items, with enough pockets and mesh to keep things organized. The lid zipper works great and runs smoothly, easy one hand operation. Rain cover fits well. Really a quality piece of gear.Note that the phone cord port does not come pierced, but easily done with a corkscrew, ice pick, etc. The small pocket where the port is located is too small for newer, larger smartphones, but is fine for an MP3 player. I passed the cord all the way through the red liner material into the main interior.I love the bag with two caveats: There is no apparent reason (other than style) that the map pocket tapers at the bottom instead of being a true rectangle. Why do I have to corner fold my maps? And the bag does not hold 12 liters of gear - however the box it came in was 12 liters, so maybe Cortech is referring to the exterior size as being 12 liters. The actual bag "may" hold 8 liters when filled to zipper popping capacity. I have a 12 liter bicycle bag that holds a true 12 liters for comparison. I don't know how Cortech came up with the stated size but it's misleading at best. That said, I really love the looks of the bag, like the features and it does exactly what I wanted as a run-around bag for water bottle, gloves, balaclava, Cliff bars, ball cap, phone changer, headlamp, rain liners for jacket and pants, notebook and some other small items. A quality piece, just realize the size is relative.

Additional information should provide details regarding the amount of cargo one carry. I just barely got my bike cover in it and nothing else.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
