Comments about National Cycle CruiselinerT Hard Saddlebags:
I bought these thinking they were bigger because of the measurements, but that is misleading because of the angle of the front and rear of the bags. The bags are well made, but there are a few things I'm not very happy with. The locks are plastic, which would be bad, but they lock into metal brackets inside the bags which wears on the plastic pretty quickly. The hinge and lock support have a lot of sharp edges and get in the way. My locks failed after a few months, but a call to National Cycle got them replace for free within a few days. The inside is just raw plastic, and it would be nice if they were lined. The mounting system is really sturdy and better than most mounting systems I've seen. There aren't any handles or anything to hold them when you take them off which means they can get scratched up pretty easily. It's a great system, but the price is pretty high.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
