Comments about Scala-Rider Scala Rider Q2 Pro Multiset Communication System:
Bought this unit so my brother-in-law & I can talk easier when we're on road trip. I like the FM radio built in, though it would be good to have a digital readout for that part. Otherwise, this a great unit. I bought the Scala half-helmet, also, as in the summer, I use. Shorty lid constantly. The main part of this system unclamps from modular helmet, and snaps right on the shorty. Plenty of volume with these systems, as compared to the Chatterbox XB2, which I had before.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Seems to work as advertised
from Benicia, CA
Very easy installation into a full face helmet. Boom mic fits into place nicely. It may be my lack of experience, but I'm not getting consistent and instant ability to communicate with my passenger when the unit goes to "stanby". However, when compared to an intercom device from another manufacturer, the Scala is by far superior and has given me much better results. Also, the Scala Q2 provides abilities to link up with other devices which I don't presently use but might in the future. Nice to have that capability (if I need it).
Scala Riders are great for bike to bike

Bought these to replace an old radio system. These are great because they are voice activated (no PTT button) but that takes a little getting used to. After that they work well, battery lasts a long time and are water/dust proof. Easy to install and setup.

received order in 7 days in perfect condition. Extremely easy to install..takes approx 5 minutes "after" reading through the instruction book. Fairly easy to set up following the instructions and very easy to pair up with other devices. Have not had a chance to check it at long distance but appears to work great at short distances. This product is all I had hoped for and more !!
