Great boots but small size
Comments about Joe Rocket Sonic R Motorcycle Boots:
I normally wear size 11 boots, but couldn't get Size 11 on my right foot, and very tight on left. Returned and reordered Size 13. I figured I could wear thick socks if too big, but the 13's fit comfortably with 1 pair of socks. The boot top is a bit thick. Some jeans may not fit over the boot top. First wearing was to motorcycle races. Had about 30 miles of heavy rain on the way home, but dry feet, and my old rainsuit let only my pants legs get wet. If you buy large enough, very comfortable riding and walking, and they are rain-proof. Very happy with these boots, except for the extra shipping cost to return and reorder.

Wrong boot for adventure riding
from Nathrop, CO
I bought these boots for adventure riding but they are more for street riding, so I sent them back for a more off road style boot.

I had these boots for about a year before I had an unfortunate low side accident and destroyed the left boot. Needless to say - the boots did their job! The left boot abraded at the toe to the inner plastic armor and the heel separated, and I was lucky to walk away with only a sprained ankle. I thank the boot construction quality for that. Prior to the crash I found these boots comfortable, sturdy, and well constructed. I didn't have the opportunity to test them in a serious rain but I suspect they would be fine given the inner liner and zipper / flap construction. Needless to say I just ordered another pair to replace the crashed ones. Excellent value for the price.

I like the boots, I order size 9 and fit perfect as size 9, I can walk with the boots like my regular shoes, witch is good for me, a little warm for the summer season but is confortable and easy to put on and pull out. I use to have others boots but I think I pay over price for the same purpose. this brand looks strong for ride for a while, the protection is good they should have to improve the ankle zone by reinforcing the area, but again for that price Im very satisfied, I will buy again and again.
