Comments about Alpinestars SPS Motorcycle Gloves:
These gloves have held up well over the past 2 or so years. They've endured some 25k miles, being run over in an intersection all night long, multiple trips up and down the West coast and Baja, a year spent in the Pacific Northwest and a year in the desert, handful of low speed crashes and one freeway speed accident, rain, hail, sub freezing and 100+ weather. The soft leather on the thumbs wears out first, but the leather under holds up. The stitching in the palm tore out in some parts while sliding at 50+ mph but it took another year until the leather began separating. Velcro still holds nicely, but not as good as when new. The black color on the back of the hand is fading. The middle and ring finger pattern on both hands never lined up right with my fingers. It forces the glove to rotate around and wear on the seam and side of the finger. Three of the fingers literally have no tips on them anymore because of this (though it took nearly 3 years before they opened up).
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

The picture shows the older style of the SPS glove. I had a pair of those and was looking to replace them. The gloves I received are the newer style of SPS glove. The newer style isn't quite as stylish in my opinion but may be a little more comfortable. Overall I'm happy with the new style so I'm not going to worry about trying to exchange or return them to find the old style, but the picture should be updated.

Was a little worried I would have less throttle feel with the kevlar lining, didnt turn out as bad as I thought. Ive been wearing them about 3 weeks now and they still arent broken in yet. Although this makes me happy because these gloves should last a while since that is the case. They breathe very well and grip is better than the Alpinestar MXS2s i had last. Money well spent in my honest opinion!

these are great gloves.. very comfortable and easy to get on and off... I wear an XL in regular gloves but bought the 3X for the best fit...
